Subodh Ghosh (1909–1987)was a far-famed Bengali author and
communicator, with Kolkata-based daily paper Ananda Bazar Patrika. His
best known work Republic of India Premkatha, concerning the romances of
epic Indian impress, has remained a way in Bengali text earth. several
of his story are tailored for creating of large Indian films, most
remarkably Ritwik Ghatak’s Ajantrik (1958) and Bimal Roy’s Sujata
(1959), and even these days filmmakers search his workings for fitting
plots.
In the late thirties, he mounted the Ananda Bazar Patrika at city. He
rose to be the elder Editor of the Sunday journal half and was a
traditional leader author. The University of Kolkata honored him with
the spectacular Jagattarini bullion award.
